STATUS: Part time; 30 hours per week
LOCATION: Remote; work from anywhere within the United States

Evident Change seeks a director of human resources (HR) to direct employee programs and initiatives while guiding employees and leadership on the interpretation of human resources policies and providing payroll management guidance and oversight. The director of human resources will also plan, implement, and promote HR strategy in line with the organization’s strategic goals and priorities.
Evident Change is not looking for a fractional employee with multiple employers in this field. We are seeking an individual interested in a less than full-time but primary position with Evident Change.

What will you do?
Get ready to:- Operate as a member of the senior leadership team in developing strategic goals and priorities that advance the organization’s mission and contribute to operational and management decision making;
- Collaborate with the Department of Organizational Impact to lead development and management of employee programs and initiatives as appropriate and applicable;
- Build relationships with leadership to understand their business requirements and align HR programs, practices, and strategies accordingly;
- Work closely with senior leadership and the executive team on personnel budgeting, including for new hires and compensation-related requests;
- Design and implement an effective performance management process and cycle to support organizational goals and objectives; and
- Guide employees and leadership in interpreting HR policies.
Our Compensation and Benefit Offerings
The national average salary for this three-quarter-time position ranges between $98,437 and $120,375 per year. WHO SHOULD APPLY to evident change?
Applicants who meet these essential qualifications will be considered a candidate for this role.- Minimum of five years of relevant human resources experience, inclusive of leadership roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources management, or related field.
- Experience developing and implementing inclusive employee programs.
- Demonstrated experience in organizational change management, including planning, implementing, and guiding change to support business objectives.
- Experience supervising and coaching employees and a demonstrated ability to select, develop, motivate, mentor, and retain high-performing staff.
- Professional HR certification preferred.
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred.
- Background in compensation practices, including managing programs that are competitive and aligned with business needs, preferred.
- Experience with nonprofit organizations strongly preferred.
